• Nearly 200 Firearms Collected During SMC Gun Buyback: Police (patch.com) — Broadmoor residents should know that their local police department joined other San Mateo County agencies in a recent anonymous gun buyback that collected 198 firearms for destruction. The county-funded event, supported by volunteers distributing free gun locks, is part of an ongoing effort that has removed more than 3,000 guns since 2018, with another buyback planned in coming months.
