• Orange County man dies after contracting West Nile virus, family says (abc7.com) — West Nile virus activity is surging in northwest Orange County, and Buena Park is among the cities seeing especially high numbers of infected mosquitoes. After a local man from Anaheim died following weeks in intensive care, health officials urge residents to use repellent, cover up at dusk and dawn, and eliminate standing water around homes.
