Brookdale Assisted Living Residents Remember 9/11
The ceremony on Tuesday remembered all those who lost their lives 17 years ago.

From Brookdale Assisted Living: On September 11, 2018 residents of the Brookdale Assisted Living Center were joined by representatives of the Rosary Altar Society of Mary, Mother of God Church and the Hillsborough Memorial VFW Post # 8371 in remembering all persons who lost their lives 17 years ago in New York City, Washington DC and Shanksville, PA.
The day’s events began with a Mass celebrated by Rev Sean Broderick of MMOG Parish followed by a refreshment social and culminated with the singing of patriotic songs by the residents and their guests. The program was coordinated by Linda Pacifico, Brookdale Resident Program Coordinator, in conjunction with National Assisted Living Week. Mrs Pacifico stated that “This event is but one of many activities organized for the benefit of our residents. However, the event was most significant because of the 9/11 remembrances being held throughout theUnited States to remember a day that changed history”.
