MILLBRAE, CA — Two of three accused auto burglars were nabbed recently in a Millbrae law enforcement operation, officials said. The duo were caught Feb. 26 in the parking lot of a local eatery — right where two teens were arrested just weeks ago, also accused of trying to break into cars.

Sheriff's Det. Rosemerry Blankswade says deputies were patrolling the 270 block of El Camino Real around 8:25 p.m. "due to the frequency of auto burglaries happening there in the recent past."

"During the operation, the deputies observed two males peering into a car with flashlights in The Kitchen (restaurant) parking lot," she said in a news release.

Stolen goods were found inside the suspects' car, according to deputies. Attorneys for the suspects were not listed in online court records.

Back on Feb. 11, sheriff's officials said they arrested two teens that were caught looking into the window of cars parked at the Chinese restaurant on El Camino Real near Hillcrest Boulevard.
