Chess for School Success | First Class: Saturday, November 21, 2026 - Registration at chess.eddiegrassi10.chatgpt.site
Join me at ICEC in Millbrae for the first class in a series of Saturday chess lessons for students in grades K–12, from beginners to advanced players. Each class meets in person in the classroom and runs for 1½ hours.
I’ll start each class with a direct lesson, then give students time to practice what they’ve learned by playing against me and their classmates. I’ll offer feedback as they play so they can sharpen their skills and grow more confident in their decisions at the board.
The series covers opening principles, tactics, checkmate patterns, pawn promotion, and how to plan ahead. The full chess program syllabus on my website explains what we’ll cover and how students can build on each lesson throughout the series.
