Hillsborough Traffic Stop Leads to Three Arrests

A traffic stop in Hillsborough on Monday led to three arrests, police said.

An officer made an enforcement stop on a 1997 Pontiac on El Cerrito Avenue around 3:45 p.m.

The driver, identified as Jeremy Ashworth, of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended license, police said.

Two passengers, identified as Michael Martinez, of Richmond, and Ray Donald Jackson III, of Richmond, were also arrested.

Martinez was arrested on suspicion of possession of instruments for injecting or smoking heroin, and Jackson was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant, police said.
