'I Thought You Were My Girlfriend': Man Allegedly Says While Assaulting Millbrae Woman
Police say that the man "...slapped her one time on her buttocks as she approached her front door."

A woman was sexually battered in front of her Millbrae home early Sunday morning, according to San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 1 a.m., the woman arrived to her home on Palm Avenue and was heading to the front door where the male suspect approached her from behind, sheriff’s officials said.
“An unknown male suspect came up to her from behind and slapped her one time on her buttocks as she approached her front door,” sheriff’s officials said in a news alert. “the suspect then immediately said, ’I thought you were my girlfriend.’”

The suspect then placed a hooded sweatshirt over his head and ran off, according to sheriff’s officials.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall, roughly 180 pounds and with a slight Spanish accent, sheriff’s officials said.

He was wearing blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt during the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
