Man ID'd in Deadly Burlingame Shooting
The man died after he was shot early Sunday morning at a hotel near San Francisco International Airport, police say.

BURLINGAME, CA – A 28-year-old has been identified in a deadly shooting outside an airport-area hotel in Burlingame.
Dean Trefault, of San Francisco, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the driveway of the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport hotel on Bayshore Highway around 5:45 a.m. Sunday, according to police and coroner's officials.
"Officers arrived on scene and discovered the victim suffering from injuries consistent with a shooting," Burlingame police said in a news release following the incident. "Immediate medical aid was rendered; however, the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries at the scene."

Investigators believe the shooter may have targeted Trefault. Police also believe Trefault was not a guest at the hotel, but was visiting someone staying there, Burlingame police spokesman Lt. Jay Kiely said.
No arrest has been made in the shooting and a description of the suspect was not immediately available.
