Millbrae Home Burglary Suspects Sought

The suspects, described as black men, fled when they were confronted by the homeowner.

Authorities are looking for two suspected burglars after they were interrupted by the homeowner early Thursday morning.

The burglary occurred a little before 6 a.m. at the 100 block of Minorca Way., according to the San Mateo Sheriff’s Department. The homeowner reported having confronted the burglar before calling 9-1-1, according to the sheriff’s department.

The suspect, a black man, then fled on foot with another black man who was waiting outside the home. Both were last seen fleeing south on Minorca Way toward Millbrae Avenue.

Several jewelry items were taken in the burglary, but the homeowner was not harmed, authorities say.

The home showed no signs of a forced entry and authorities believe the suspect may have entered the home as an automatic garage door was in the process of closing.
