• Xona Space Aims to Replace Classic GPS with Its Own Satellite Fleet (androidheadlines.com) — A Burlingame-based startup, Xona Space Systems, has begun launching its own Pulsar satellites, including two built at its local headquarters, to offer far more precise navigation than traditional GPS. The company plans a 258-satellite constellation by 2030, promising stronger signals that work better in dense cities and indoors, which could eventually benefit everything from Bay Area drivers to delivery drones and farm equipment.
