Police Need Help Finding Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Peninsula Man
Daly City police are hoping someone may recognize the description of the vehicle involved.

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 78-year-old pedestrian in Daly City Thursday night.
The pickup truck driver hit the man, identified by the county coroner’s office as Jose Euan Rosel of Daly City, on state Highway 35 near Westridge Avenue just after 11:30 p.m., according to police.

The driver took off after hitting Rosel and remains at large Friday. Rosel died from his injuries.
A witness described the truck as a full-size American-made pickup truck, possibly a Ford or Chevrolet, with a ladder rack. It is believed to have moderate front-end damage and a damaged windshield, police said.

The driver was last seen heading south on Highway 35 toward Westmoor Avenue.
