Police Seeking Attempted Burglary Suspect

The suspect forced his way into the home but took nothing.

Police are looking for a person who broke into a San Bruno home Thursday, but took nothing.

At 8:08 a.m., police responded to reports of an attempted burglary at a home, located on the 100 block of National Avenue, according to police.

When police arrived they spoke with the owner, who said he found his sliding glass door open.

The screen was damaged and the sliding glass door had been forced open, police said.

However, the suspect took nothing from the house, police said.

Most residential burglars choose their target if they think no one is home, according to police.
