SMPD Investigating Shots Fired Into Residence
Police say there doesn't appear to be an ongoing threat to the public at this time.

San Mateo police are investigating a drive-by shooting in town.
According to SMPD Sgt. Dave Norris, officers began receiving ”numerous” calls of shots fired around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Norfolk Street And Newbridge Avenue.
“Responding officers quickly checked the involved residence and conducted a door-to-door canvass of the neighborhood, determining no apparent injuries to residents,” he said in a Nixle statement. “At this point, there does not appear to be an ongoing danger to the public, and this incident appears to be isolated to one targeted residence.”
