Water Main Break Cuts off Service to Residential Block
The break occurred around 8 a.m. at 700 block of Acacia Drive and was restored about 40 minutes later.

A water main break briefly cut off water to a residential block in Burlingame this morning, according to a city water official.
The break occurred shortly after 8 a.m. in the 700 block of Acacia Drive, according to Mike Heathcote, operations manager for the Burlingame water department.

Residents on the block lost water for around 40 minutes before service was restored and the break was repaired, according to Heathcote.
Heathcote said he did not know the cause of the break.
