Learn what to do when you find a wild animal in distress

Ever wonder what steps to take when you find a wild animal in need? Are you curious about what happens to them when they are admitted to a rehabilitation hospital? Ashley Kinney, Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager for the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA, will answer all your questions at a free program called “Wildlife in Your Neighborhood” on Wednesday, July 31, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Burlingame Community Center, 850 Burlingame Ave., Burlingame.
Presented by the Citizens Environmental Council, the program will feature stories about wild animals that have been saved, details of the rehabilitation process and tips on how we can peacefully coexist with our wild neighbors.
There is no charge for admission, but preregistration is requested at https://bit.ly/PHSwildlife.
