• SoCal Diner Chain Files For Bankruptcy After String Of Closures (patch.com) — A Marmalade Cafe location at the Commons at Calabasas has been losing about $50,000 a month in sales during ongoing construction, and those losses helped push the Southern California diner chain into bankruptcy. While other Marmalade locations in Westlake Village, Malibu, Sherman Oaks, and El Segundo are reportedly healthy, the Calabasas restaurant's downturn played a key role in the company's financial troubles.
   

• Santa Monica Police search for additional victims after Calabasas man arrested for indecent exposure - Yo! Venice! (yovenice.com) — A 72-year-old Calabasas resident has been arrested in Santa Monica on suspicion of felony indecent exposure after allegedly posing as a TV producer in a women's clothing store. Police later searched his Calabasas home and, citing prior similar convictions, are urging anyone who may have had comparable encounters to contact investigators.
