The Leonis Adobe commemorates a very special milestone—the 60th anniversary of being open as Los Angeles’ first Historic-Cultural Monument. To mark this occasion, a celebratory ticketed event will be held on the museum grounds to honor the past and inspire future generations. Featuring a BBQ buffet from Old Town Calabasas neighbors, The Sagebrush Cantina, live music by the Cali Country Allstars, live and silent auctions hosted by Tony Shaw, and the premiere of the brand new Leonis Adobe Museum documentary by 4085 productions. Special honorees include former Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, and Principal City Planner, Ken Bernstein, for their contributions to history, culture, and preservation.
Tickets are on sale online for $65 per person for members, and $75 per person general admission. All ticket sales and fundraising from the event will go toward the museum’s programs, educating thousands of school children each year, maintaining excellent care of the site’s ranch animals, and engaging with the community through public events.
