• Napa Valley harvest report: Reds begin as early harvest continues (napavalleyregister.com) — Red grape harvest is slowly ramping up in Calistoga's eastern hills and volcanic soils, with growers watching sugar levels and yields closely. Across Napa Valley, winemakers report one of the earliest and lightest harvests in memory, yet many say the surviving grapes show strong flavor, color, and acidity that could make 2026 a standout vintage despite smaller volumes.
