Another Fatality: Caltrain Strikes, Kills Person South of Blossom Hill
No trains are running south of the station. This is the third Caltrain accident in the South Bay/Peninsula in a little more than a week.

Caltrain service south of Blossom Hill Station in San Jose is halted after a person was struck and killed by a train this evening, Caltrain officials said.
The person was struck by southbound Caltrain #156 south of the Blossom Hill Station at about 5:15 p.m., according to Caltrain. None of the 150 passengers on board the train were injured.
No Caltrain service is operating south of the station this evening.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is providing a bus bridge between the Capital Station and the end of the line and honoring Caltrain fares, according to Caltrain officials.
