• Capitola murder suspect's juvenile record sealed (pajaronian.com) — A 19-year-old is being held without bail in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 73-year-old woman outside Capitola Mall, where she managed the Art of Santa Cruz gallery. A Santa Cruz County judge has agreed to seal a prior juvenile firearms restraining order involving the suspect, after defense attorneys argued it could unfairly sway potential jurors. Further arraignment proceedings are scheduled this week.
