• Teen pleads not guilty in Capitola Mall fatal stabbing of grandmother (amedpost.com) — Capitola residents are following the case of a 19-year-old who has pleaded not guilty in the fatal July 20 stabbing of local artist and grandmother Rachell Summers outside Capitola Mall. Friends and family are honoring Summers by raising money for a college fund for her infant grandson, while the suspect remains jailed without bail pending an October court date.
