2 for 1 Golf at La Costa Resort for Military, Teachers, Firefighters and Law Enforcement

The new "2-for-1 Golf" special is available both weekdays and weekends on the designated "resort course" of the day.

To recognize those who provide vital services in the surrounding area,  has launched a “2-for-1 Golf” offer exclusively for active military, law enforcement, firefighters and school teachers in San Diego County.

“We realize the important work these professionals do in serving our communities every day,” said Paul McCormick, vice president and general manager at La Costa Resort and Spa. “They are in a class of their own and we are proud to have them play golf at a venue that we think is in a class of its own, as well.”

Tee times can be reserved 48 hours in advance by calling the golf shop at (760) 438-9111 or visiting lacosta.com. Rates are based on regular daily guest fees for each golf course, year round.

Participants must present valid identification upon arrival. (Military can be stationed in, or reside in, the county, to be eligible; law enforcement, firefighters and school teachers must be employed in the county to qualify for the offer.)

La Costa offers 36 holes of championship-caliber golf, including the completely re-designed Champions Course – home to the PGA Tour for five decades – and newly modified South Course, now home to the LPGA Tour’s Kia Classic. The golf experience is further enhanced by La Costa’s new Golf Squad, the roving on-course marshals who are “at your service” throughout the day.
