The art sale is open to the public and free to attend at any time between 10 AM and 3 PM on the day of the event.
Copper Hill is hosting the art sale to shine a spotlight on the immense talent of artists who struggle with mental health issues, which will directly benefit the independent living and learning center and its residents.
Copper Hill Independent Living and Learning Center was founded in the 1970’s by parents of adults with mental health conditions, who were struggling to find a facility that catered to their needs while still allowing their children to live independently. Copper Hill’s core belief is that people with mental illness all deserve a safe place to live where they can grow and thrive. The home is run exclusively by volunteer staff and governed by a board of directors that ensure each resident receives the support they need, with the aim of preparing them to eventually transition from the home to living independently on their own.
