Assembly Approves Domestic Violence Bill; Names Bill for Carlsbad Woman
The Assembly bill fights domestic violence.

A state bill named after a Carlsbad woman with the goal of fighting domestic violence was approved by the Assembly Wednesday, according to U-T San Diego.
The bill, which was named after Carlsbad's Kathleen Scharbarth who was killed in November, would allow for domestic violence perpetrators to be fitted with GPS monitoring devices, according to the newspaper.
