The multi-state Mega Millions lottery game has more than a half billion-dollar jackpot for Friday night’s draw.

San Lorenzo resident Keith Barros said the former Mervyn's parking lot adjacent to Kavanaugh's has been packed with cars throughout the week.

"It looks like Mervyn's is open again," Barros said.

And just last week,  sold a winning California Mega Millions lottery ticket .

This week, a Castro Valley man was one number off from winning the Maga Millions lottery after buying a ticket at  on Redwood Road. He settled for $13,505.
