CVSan: Donates Containers for New Canyon Middle School Sports Fields.

To support the opening and use of the new turf sports fields at Canyon Middle School, Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) recently donated twelve blue recycling and green organics containers to Castro Valley Unified School District (CVUSD). Along with garbage containers purchased by CVUSD, the donation provides six complete sets of containers that have been placed around the fields, so school and event attendees are able to sort waste materials correctly and recycle and compost as much as possible.

CVSan supports the community in its efforts to reduce waste with donations of recycling and organics containers and signage, when needed and requested. Schools, businesses, events, multi-family communities, and residents can request donations at cvsan.org.
