CVSan: July Recycles Day

Participate in Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)’s Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away event on Saturday, July 25^th! Alameda County residents are invited to drop off Household Hazardous Waste (paint, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and e-waste). In addition, CVSan residents can drop off textiles and exchange single-use one-pound propane cylinders for a refillable one. CVSan residents may also receive three one-cubic-foot bags of compost!

The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Canyon Middle School. Appointments are required to participate and are limited, so they will be given to eligible customers in the order received. Registration is open from June 22^nd at 3:00 p.m. until July 20^th.
