Early Morning Lake Hike: Photo Of The Day
Notice the cloud lying in the fold of the hills. Lovely!

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — If the weather has you thinking about exploring our beautiful Bay Area - here's a photo to inspire you. Patch reader Apryl Rhinehart snapped this shot at Lake Chabot in April.
Lake Chabot is part of the East Bay Regional Parks system. In addition to hiking the 20 miles of trails, the 300 acre lake offers you fishing and boating, while park amenities include picnic areas, a grassy play area, horseshoe pits, and a golf course.
There's also a cafe, boat rentals, and a bait and tackle shop.
