He is believed to be tied to shootings Wednesday in Roseville and Citrus Heights and threats against the Capitol, police said.

HAYWARD, CA — A Hayward man believed to be involved in shootings Wednesday in Roseville and Citrus Heights as well as threats against the state Capitol was arrested Thursday, according to police.
Roseville police Thursday afternoon announced the arrest of 30-year-old Jackson Pinney of Hayward on suspicion of attempted homicide, firearm assault, shooting from a moving vehicle and shooting at an inhabited dwelling. Pinney was arrested near the intersection of Douglas Boulevard and Auburn-Folsom Road, police said, and will be booked into Placer County Jail.
Additionally, Pinney is connected to “credible threats” to the Capitol that caused disruptions and a heightened police presence Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The threats forced California's Assembly to cancel its Thursday session.
