Horse Camp: Fun Way to Kick off Summer

Up and down Crow Canyon and Cull Canyon ranches are offering horsie day camp. Check it out!

Looking for something new to do—an exciting, one-of-a-kind experience?  You might consider horse camp.  There are so many opportunities available right under your nose up and down Crow Canyon and Cull Canyon.

Most horse camps are geared toward young children, but many ranches have opportunities for teens as well, and even for adults. Camps are usually one week long and offered several times during the summer.

They normally last all day (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and teach children to groom, care for, tack and ride. Some programs offer extended care, and many programs also include arts and crafts. It’s an opportunity to get up close and personal with a horse without actually owning your own. Costs range from $425 to $550 per session.

If you sign up for a summer camp, let us know how it's going and we'll share that too. The rain is finally gone. The sun is here. It's time to go play with a horse!
