• One California County Is Considering a Whopping $30 Minimum Wage Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — Castro Valley workers and businesses in unincorporated areas could eventually see a phased-in $30 minimum wage under Alameda County's proposed Living Wage for All initiative. The measure targets large employers first, would cover county properties, and is now undergoing a detailed economic study after supervisors delayed putting it on the November ballot, likely pushing any vote to 2028 or a special election.
