CVSan: Ralph Johnson to serve as President of the Castro Valley Sanitary District Board
CVSan is pleased to announce Ralph Johnson as the new President of the CVSan Board of Directors.

The Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) is pleased to announce Ralph Johnson as the new President of the CVSan Board of Directors. President Johnson was sworn in at the January 6th Regular Board Meeting, succeeding Kristy (Dooman) Woerz, who now assume the role of will continue to serve as a Board Member. Dave Sadoff will serve as Secretary Pro Tem, Dani Akagi as Secretary, and Timothy McGowan as President Pro Tem. President Johnson stated, “I am excited to serve our community as CVSan’s Board President. I look forward to working in our new building and continuing our mission to protect public health and the environment through responsible stewardship of CVSan’s wastewater and solid waste infrastructure and services for the community.”
Ralph has been a resident of Castro Valley for 45 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley and spent more than 40 years as a civil engineer specializing in public works. He has served on the CVSan Board of Directors since 2000, bringing extensive experience and long-standing commitment to the community.
