Second San Lorenzo Community Park Master Plan Meeting Scheduled

The community meeting is to be held at the San Lorenzo Community Center 1970 Via Buena Vista on Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m.

A second community meeting is scheduled to discuss the new master plan for the 31-acre San Lorenzo Community Park.

The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s architect will be providing several possible concept drawings based on the community input that was received in May.

The park is expected to cost around $100,000 and will be funded through the HARD's reserves and "park-in-lieu" dedication fees. These fees are collected by the county and developers and can be requested by HARD as projects arise.
