PHOTOS: A Hunt for Halloween Treats

The Castro Village hosts its annual trick-or-treat event and children's concert.

Little ghouls and goblins took over Castro Valley's Castro Village Monday afternoon.

Shops, restaurants and other businesses opened their doors to those seeking treats. Hundreds poured into the shopping center between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

After saying those three words: "trick-or-treat," children went on their way to the next business, along with their loot.

Transformers, bumble bees and princesses popped up as the most popular costumes of the evening.
