CERRITOS-ARTESIA, CA – It's been a busy week for the greater Los Angeles area. A woman was killed in a crash on the Long Beach (710) freeway earlier this week. Unfortunately the motorist, who was in her 70s, died at the hospital, officials said.
A Long Beach seventh grader advanced in the National Spelling Bee Finals. Medina Miranda, who attends Stanford Middle School, and was among 41 of 516 spellers who advanced to the finals.
A flasher was targeting women and girls near a Long Beach school. Police warned residents about a man who has been exposing himself to women and girls near Wilson High School.

The dog was stolen over the weekend in Downey, but found safe and sound in Anaheim days later. "Marcee is home!!!!!!" the dog owner wrote on Facebook.
