Chase, Shooting Closes 710 Freeway
The Freeway is closed in both directions in East Los Angeles.
A suspect leading California Highway Patrol officers on a pursuit on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in East Los Angeles has come to a stop and may have just fired a shot or pointed a weapon at officers. It’s unclear what precipitated the pursuit.
That pursuit suspect has gotten out of his car and tried to flee on foot, but he has likely been taken into custody. All lanes of the Long Beach (710) Freeway have been closed.
