Chemical Spill Temporarily Closes Several Rides at Disneyland
No one had to be evacuated and the park remained open, police said.

A small chemical leak at Disneyland this Wednesday prompted theme park officials to temporarily close a few rides as it was cleaned up, police said.
Police were called at 1:30 p.m. regarding a leak of muriatic acid in a water filtration plant backstage, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt. That chemical is commonly used to clean swimming pools, he said.
No one was injured or had to be evacuated, and the theme park remained open, Wyatt said.
