Man Wounded in Apparent Gang Shooting

A 26-year-old man was shot and wounded in an apparent gang-related attack in Norwalk, a sheriff’s sergeant said Wednesday.
The shooting at 14355 Pontlavoy Avenue took place about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, said sheriff’s Sgt. Kim Guerrero.
“The suspects walked up to the victim and shot him. Then they ran from the scene,” Guerrero said. “It looks like it’s gang-related.”

The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a hospital. His condition was not immediately reported.
Guerrero said the the suspects were between 18 and 25 years-old.
