• Red Cross: Patients are counting on blood and platelet donors to give now (redcross.org) — Local residents can give blood close to home when the Red Cross hosts a drive at Cerritos Library on November 3, part of a wider October–November push across Los Angeles County. Donors this fall can earn gift cards while helping stabilize supplies before winter, and the organization is also seeking volunteers to support check-in and blood transport.
