VIDEO: Callous Driver Backs into 85-Year-Old Woman, Leaves Her Lying On the Ground

Do you recognize this pair? You won't believe their reaction to hitting the woman.

The video released by Huntington Beach police is hard to watch.

Last Wednesday, and 85-year-old woman was leaving a McDonald’s with her family when a car driving through the parking lot stopped, and then backed into her.

“Other family members pounded on the car to get the driver’s attention and the driver and a passenger got out of the car, saw her lying on the ground and offered no help, didn’t call the police, and then they both got back into the car and left the location and left her there,” Officer Jennifer Marlatt said.

The woman had to be taken to the hospital to treat her injuries.

The Dodge Challenger had no front license plate and it’s difficult to tell from the video footage if the rear plate was a dealer-issued one or not, Marlatt said.

The car is dark gray, with a chrome gas cap cover and chrome tire rims, Marlatt said.

The driver was described as a white or Asian man in his mid-20s, 6 feet tall, with short dark hair and a medium build. The passenger was a white or Asian woman in her early 20s with long dark hair. She is about 5-foot-5 and has a medium build, Marlatt said.
