• City of Chico provides update on clean-up of Lindo Channel (actionnewsnow.com) — Chico city crews have cleared 48 encampments and 22 tons of debris from Lindo Channel after the City Council declared a local emergency over fire danger. Officials say 27 unhoused residents were offered shelter, and restoration work with a focus on safety, services, and accountability will continue in the area for months.
