Music for 6 Pianos

Gaggle of geese. Murder of crows. Proliferation of pianists? Six of Pomona College’s faculty come together for a tantalizingly rare performance of Steve Reich’s Six Pianos, a stunning minimalist work. The performers take turns in works for piano four-hand, eight-hand, and Luigi Dallapiccola’s three-piano work Inni (Hymn). Come witness Bridges Hall of Music filled to the brim with the brilliant sound of many pianos!
