Claremont Police Search for Owners of Recovered Property

Claremont Police officials are getting the word out about a viewing of property recovered following the arrest of three men suspected of robbing homes the Chino Hills, Diamond Bar, Claremont and Walnut.

The event will feature items recovered by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s detectives following the arrests of Diego Aguirre, 25, of Victorville, Juan Castillo, 18, of Corona, and J. Trinidad Castillo, 24, of Corona, on March 3 after the serving search warrants at their respective residences, authorities said.

The property viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Chino Hills Sheriff’s substation. Claremont Detective Isaac Reyes will attend to assist any Claremont victims. Attendees are asked to bring a copy of your police report or have their report number with them, officials said.

Claremont Police said it was important to note that there is no evidence to suggest that Aguirre was involved in any thefts from vehicles or automobile burglaries, only residential burglaries.

Claremont detectives have been comparing stolen property to items listed in burglary reports in that city, according to a news release issued by Lt. Mike Ciszek.

The three suspects in the case may have been responsible for more than 20 residential burglaries over the last four months in Chino Hills alone, Ciszek wrote.

During the search warrant, property from a Feb. 7 residential burglary linked to a Claremont home, 200 block of Villanova, was found, Ciszek wrote.
