Homeless Man Identified in Pomona Train Death
The Los Angeles County coroner's office has identified the man who was struck and killed by a freight train early Wednesday morning.

A man struck and killed by a Union Pacific train in Pomona early Wednesday has been identified as a transient of the area.
The man, 56-year-old Leslie Frank Coville, was a transient, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office tells Patch.
A Metrolink spokesman said a preliminary investigation indicates Coville was struck by a train while trying to walk across the tracks. Two westbound Metrolink trains were delayed while an investigation was conducted, the spokesman said.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, in the area of of North Park Avenue and West First Street, according to fire officials.
