A man was fatally shot in Pomona, and authorities today sought whomever killed him. Officers were sent to the 700 block of North Gordon Street about 9:35 p.m. Monday and found Christopher Cotinola, 20, of Pomona with a gunshot wound to his upper body, said Pomona police Lt. Eddie Vazquez. Cotinola was taken to a hospital, where he died, Vazquez said. There were no arrests, Vazquez said. A motive for the shooting was unknown, and police were soliciting clues from the public.
