Napolitano, Chu to Host Immigration Forum Saturday

The forum will take place at the Julia McNeill Senior Center in Baldwin Park.

Fresh off their primary election victories this week, Congresswomen Grace Napolitano and Judy Chu are starting the second half of their reelection campaigns with an immigration forum in Baldwin Park tomorrow.

The forum will provide free legal consultations and advice from experienced immigration lawyers.

Both legislators have hosted these forums before.

Neither of their opponents in the 2012 election has campaigned much on immigration issues so far this election cycle.

Republican David Miller, running against Chu for the 32nd District, which includes La Verne, has stated on his website that illegal immigration across the Mexican border into the United States is part of an "Illegal Invasion."

Republican Jack Orswell, running against Napolitano for the 27th Disctrict, which includes Claremont, has not listed an official stance on illegal immigration.

Napolitano and Chu's immigration forum is tomorrow at the Julia McNeill Senior Center (4100 Baldwin Park Blvd.) in Baldwin Park from 2 to 4 p.m.
