The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. April 17 in the Chamber office, 205 Yale Ave. Claremont has experienced a recent increase in business burglaries. The most recent incidents reported by the chamber in a crime alert were attempted beak-ins at Eureka Burger and Hush Serenity. Several other businesses have been broken into and items taken, according to police reports.
