Claremont's new representative on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors spoke at a luncheon attended by city council members and officials from the five colleges yesterday afternoon at Walter's in the Village.
Democrat Gloria Molina spoke highly of her new city, speaking of her time as a parent of a Pitzer College student, according to The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Claremont was moved from longtime supervisor Republican Mike Atonovich after the city was moved from his 5th District into Molina's 1st Distrct.
