Bicyclist Killed Crossing Kirker Pass Road ID'd
The fatal accident was Friday night, officials said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – A bicyclist who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Pittsburg last Friday has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 19-year-old Kenneth Sanabria.
Sanabria, a Pittsburg resident, was crossing Kirker Pass Road at Castlewood Drive around 11:25 p.m. Friday when a vehicle traveling north struck him. Sanabria was in the crosswalk, but the vehicle had the green
light, Pittsburg police said.
Sanabria was taken to John Muir Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The driver was apparently not impaired or distracted at the time of the collision, according to police.
