Circle The Date: Contra Costa Discovery Day
Hands-on exhibits make science fun for the kids at CSU East Bay's Concord campus. And it's free!

CONCORD, CA – All students ages 5 to 18 are invited on Saturday, Oct. 29 to attend Contra Costa DISCOVERY DAY— a free science fair hosted by Susan A. Bonilla, Assemblywoman of the 14th District, in partnership with California State University, East Bay and in collaboration with the larger Bay Area Science Festival.
Students and families will get the opportunity to make ice cream utilizing liquid nitrogen, learn about polymers by creating silly putty, and dust for fingerprints with the Department of Justice while learning about forensic science just to name a few of the great exhibits this year.
Contra Costa Discovery Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CSU East Bay's Concord Campus at 4700 Ygnacio Valley Road, Concord, CA 94521.
